coming upon the company through this site, Moidart is an independent record
label specialising in selected areas of Traditional Scottish Music and Scottish
Folk Music.
In ten
years of establishment we have produced globally acclaimed collections
by Jimmy Shand, Andy Stewart, The Glasgow Orpheus Choir and The Pipes
& Drums Of The Scottish Regiments.
We have
a long association with the music of The Corries reflected in the career-spanning
catalogue of the group's albums we have released including Flower Of Scotland
- the title track of which from a simple folk song has become Scotland's
National Anthem.
